Description of Tour
Drive through remote Goan villages, past paddy fields and swaying palms as you head up to the foothills of the Western Ghats. At the wildlife sanctuary, you board the four-wheel drive jeeps for safari through the sanctuary to the falls. Pass the scampering monkeys jumping from tree to tree and local families doing their daily washing in the stream. Make your way through the fantastic scenery, over boulders and bridges made from slander logs laid side by side. Its time for a refreshing dip in the cool clean waters under the cascading streams. Lie down on a smooth rock or just sit under the shade of the trees. Bathe Elephants, experience an elephant shower. Take a ride on the Elephant. Proceed to the spice farm you will be welcomed in an Indian traditional manner. After a scrumptious Goan buffet lunch, begin the tour of the plantation with a well-experienced guide. You will also be given a unique opportunity of coming in direct contact with the plants, fruits, medicinal herbs, spices and plucking leaves. You may also purchase various spices, Ayurvedic medicines or medical herbs from the farm to take back home. Later visit Shri Mangueshi Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the largest and most frequently visited temples in Goa. Standing with its back to a wall of thick forest is the Shri Shantadurga Temple, another famous temple in Goa.
